BenQ and TIFF are signing a partnership for 2010 and 2011
BenQ, leader on the image products segment in Romania, will supply the projection gear for Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) for this year edition. BenQ becomes the technical partner of the festival for this year edition and for the 2011 festival as well.
This year BenQ will supply projection gear for TIFF Cluj, for TIFF Caravan as well as for TIFF Sibiu and TIFF Bucharest between the 9th of June and the 1st of August.

The partnership is integrated in a complex initiative of offering support for cultural and educational projects in Romania. Aside form the partnership with TIFF, BenQ is actively involved in various educational projects in collaboration with student organizations and universities from Romania.

Over the years, the festival has become the place of national premieres for many important productions. TIFF has turned to be over the years the launching moment for the Romanian public for films such as Occident (dir. Cristian Mungiu), Moartea domnului Lăzărescu (dir. Cristi Puiu), 12:08 East of Bucharest (dir. Corneliu Porumboiu), Cum mi-am petrecut sfârşitul lumii (dir. Cătălin Mitulescu), The paper will be blue (dir. Radu Muntean), Legături bolnăvicioase (dir. Tudor Giurgiu), California Dreamin’ (nesfarsit) (dir. Cristian Nemescu), for the winner of Palme D'Or award in 2007, Cristian Mungiu’s fim 4 months, 3 weeks andi 2 days and many others.
