The BenQ Challenger Cup (“the Competition”) is an online competition, which is sponsored by BenQ Europe B.V and organized by Actrollvision Community Racing. Williams Esports and Veloce Esports will contribute 4x professional Raceroom Esports drivers to be challenged. The promoter is BenQ Europe B.V.: BenQ Europe B.V, Meerenakkerweg 1-17, 5652AR, Eindhoven, Netherlands (“the Promoter”).
Participants will use their driving skills to battle with each other in the qualification and semi-final whilst also trying to beat the professional Esports drivers from Williams Esports (the Sim-Racing team of Williams Racing) and Veloce Esports (empower Alfa Romeo F1 Esports team), two professional drivers, Raffaele Marciello (The current factory driver of Mercedes-AMG) and Dan Cammish (Halford Yuasa BTCC DriverHalford Yuasa BTCC Driver) in the final.
The Pre-selection match will take place on 9th May 2019, and the final on 16th May 2020.
The Pre-selection match has no limitation of registrations, all of them need to be registered online via Actrollvision.com. They will be issued a lobby randomly based on the registration.
The Competition is open to anyone who lives in the following European regions: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak, Slovenia, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden, and The United Kingdom.
Participants will need to have a copy of the Raceroom and a compatible PC to join the match.
Participants must also agree to all the rules and Terms and Conditions set out in the BenQ Challenger Cup 2020 Terms and Conditions.
To enter the Competition, Participants will be required to register online, via the Actrollvision website located at https://actrollvision.com/benqchallengercupbeginning on 1st May at 13:00 CEST.
All Participants should have a Raceroom account, with an individual username to participate the Competition. This username must not include defamatory, obscene, vulgar, profane, repulsive or offensive words, phrases or inferences. Any Participant that the Promoter believes, in its sole and absolute discretion, having been using or attempted to use such username will be subject to disqualification.
The Promoter will not accept Competition entries that are automatically generated by computer or completed by third parties or in bulk. Illegible, altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered Competition entries are also prohibited.
Each Participant shall not engage in more than one entry for the Competition. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not permitted. If the Promoter determines that a Participant has violated the Terms and Conditions or other rules, the Promoter may disqualify the Participant at its sole discretion.
In the event that a Williams E-Sports or Veloce E-Sports driver is unable to participate in the final, both Williams E-Sports and Veloce E-Sports reserve the right to replace a driver(s) from their roster, to participate in place of the originally named driver. This clause can only be activated if either teams driver(s) is unable to participate in the final, due to any form of scheduling conflict with other events. Both William E-Sports and Veloce E-Sports have to notify the Promoter of any driver conflicts prior to the final, and are unable to replace a driver at their discretion without prior approval from the Promoter.
Participants will be required to provide the following information at registration:
a. First Name b. Surname c. Date of Birth d. Email Address e. Contact Telephone Number f. Country of residence (for the country which is not included in the list, will be rejected to register) g. Raceroom username (exactly as it appears inside game leader boards)
Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by Participant as a result of engaging in the Competition or accepting any prize. Promoter further disclaims any liability for any injury or damage to Participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition, including, without limitation, a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
By entering the competition, Participants agree to be subject to the Terms and Conditions. Each Participant agrees, after submitting a registration form, that any personal information provided by them shall be: (a) processed in accordance with BenQ Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.benq.eu/en-eu/policy/privacy-policy.html; and (b) used by Promoter and their respective agents and suppliers to administer the Competition and to enable Promoter to promote the Competition in any media.
Winner Announcement 16.1 The winners of the qualification match, also the result of final will be announced on BenQ Europe, Williams Esports, Veloce Esports, Raffaele Marciello and Actrollvision’ s social media platforms and website. The timing of the announcement will be on 11th May and 18th May (two days after the match).
16.2 In order for the prizes to be validated, all winners will be asked to provide their shipping information. Failure to provide this will result in the cancellation of their prize and the selection of a new winner.
16.3 If you are one of the winners, BenQ Europe may request that you share the unbox picture/video on you social media platform.
The Prizes 17.1 All the racers, who participate the competition will receive a discount coupon from BenQ Europe. Product prizes can only be earned/used once per person.
17.2 The 1st finalist will receive a VIP tour, provided by Williams Esports and BenQ Europe, including an experiencing trip to Williams racing HQ with multiple activities there. Also a travel package to Oxford, UK (Where Williams Racing office stands).
17.3 The 2nd finalist will receive 3x BenQ EX3203R curved Sim-Racing monitor plus a souvenir from Veloce Esports.
17.4 The 3rd finalist will receive a BenQ EX3501R curved Sim-Racing monitor plus a souvenir from Williams Esports.
17.5 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the winners are not able to take up the prizes.
17.6 PRO drivers do not count for the prize offer, only the participants (e.g. if 4x PRO drivers are ranked from 1st -4th, then the 5th – 8th place receive the prize).
17.7 The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
17.8 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.
The Competition will be governed by English law and the Participant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
BenQ reserves the right, at any point, to cancel, change, update or suspend the Competition. This right is reserved whether the event is due to human or technical error. BenQ reserves the right, at any time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Competition, with or without prior notice, for reasons outside its reasonable control.
