EUROPE, March 30, 2011 - BenQ proudly announces today the launch of the C1430 digital camera, the latest addition to the C-series digital camera lineup, offering an affordable point-and-shoot solution that combines superior image quality, intuitive usability with thoughtfully selected features. The C1430 is equipped with a 14 Megapixel BSI (Back Side Illuminated) CMOS sensor, Speedy Burst Shooting mode, 3x optical zoom, 720p HD movie recording and a full-set of shooting modes and fun features for all ages.
Serious Speed for Photographic Fun
Powered by the BSI CMOS sensor, the C1430’s Speedy Burst Shooting is able to capture up to 6 shots per second at 3 megapixel resolution in automatic focus, meaning any fast-moving actions can be captured in clear detail by just a single shutter press – simply choose the best shot, or enjoy the entire sequence. Taking pictures in low-light conditions is made easy with C1430’s 14 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor which significantly improves the light sensitivity of the sensor, resulting in photos that are properly exposed with reduced image noise. C1430 fear no darkness!
HD Video Recording
Those fast-moving actions can even be captured in crisply detailed, vivid HD videos with the C1430’s 720p HD movie recording function which comes with a smart pre-recording tool that stores 3 seconds of the footage before the actual record button is pressed, the pre-recorded footage will be automatically added to the clip once the record button is pressed. Another advance feature of the C1430 is the HDR (High Dynamic Range) image enhancement technology, it is designed to solve high-contrast lighting challenges, HDR captures the finest foreground and background details and generates a balanced lighting image in any setting.
A Full Range of Fun Features
Available in black and silver, the C1430 comes bundled with a full range of fun features and shooting modes to optimize users’ picture-taking experience. The Self/Love Portrait mode activates auto-shooting whenever one or two faces is detected in frame, allowing users to take photos without the help of others. The Blink Detector generates alert when the subject in the photo has blinked so the shot can be retaken or saved according to one’s preference. The Pre-composition comes in handy when one wishes to have their photos taken in his/her preferred background as this function allows the users to compose their ideal background in a semi-transparent image on the screen, making sure the desired background can always be captured. The Web-Auction mode enables web auction enthusiasts to take shots of their auction items from four different angles and merge them into one photo without the use of any photo editing software. The C1430 also comes with the advanced smart scene modes which automatically detects up to 12 different scenes, adjusting the camera to the best suitable settings according to the shooting environment. Other features and effects included are: LOMO effect, Fisheye Lens, Color Accent and Beauty Enhancer – All there for the users fun and convenience.
