7x Optical Zoom | 28mm wide-angle lens | Sophisticated Design
HDR II | LOMO | Color Accent | Fisheye | Toy Mode
EUROPE, June 28, 2011 - BenQ proudly announces today the debut of P1410 digital camera – the flagship model of the new P series. The 14-megapixel P1410 boasts a full array of advanced features including a stunning 7x optical zoom lens, a clear 460k-pixel 3" LCD display, powerful double anti-shake system, special shooting effects and a beautifully designed ultra-slim casing. The P1410 is undoubtedly the ultimate choice for young adults who love to share their own unique ideas captured in photos.
The P1410 digital camera, with BenQ’s first 7x optical zoom lens, is encased in a chic metallic body at a mere 19mm thick. Intricate details such as the golden coating surrounding the outside of zoom lens and the textured grip area accentuate the camera - making it the perfect personal statement for those seeking for high performance camera with a style. The amazing 7x optical zoom with 28mm wide angle lens captures objects up to 15m away and the built-in optical anti-shake in conjunction with anti-shake software makes the world not only closer, but clearer and wider.
The fun-filled P1410 features a wide range of shooting modes including the Toy Mode, LOMO Style, Color Accent and Fisheye. The Toy mode automatically applies blurs and increases color contrasts to create a toy miniature effect to any elevated view point - an effect which is traditionally achieved by using a professional camera with a tilt-shift lens or photo retouching software. The LOMO style adds effects like the retro color hues or vignette faded borders and the Color Accent effect allows the user to keep one selected color in the photo whilst having the rest converted into black and white, a mode that is also available in video mode. Use Fisheye Mode to get a hemispherical view of the photographic subjects, adding a new source of fun and intriguing creative possibilities to photos.
Powered by BenQ’s latest HDRII (High Dynamic Range) image enhancement technology, the P1410 is able to self-adjust the darkest and the brightest part in a composition to deliver images in absolute clarity - perfect for capturing pictures of outdoor scenery under extreme lighting conditions whether it be sunrise or sunset or strong backlight scenarios. There’s no more need for photo retouching or even makeup with P1410 as the Skin Soften automatically improves skin texture in the photo whilst the De-blemish mode softens freckles, wrinkles or blemishes.
Create clear and unique videos with the P1410’s advanced 720p HD movie recording function which allows users to record videos with color accent effect and be playback on a smart 460K-pixel 3” LCD display that auto adjusts its brightness. Other thoughtful features include 2cm Super Macro, Smile Detection, Intelligent Scene, Face Detect, Panorama, and Night Scene mode.
The new BenQ P1410 digital camera will be available in Europe from July 2011.
