EINDHOVEN, THE NETHERLANDS, 18TH October 2022 – A major sports event is looming on the horizon and for the first time it’s taking place in winter. To coincide with this, BenQ, one of the world's leading brands in DLP® projectors proudly presents its new model TH575. While designing this budget-friendly DLP® projector, BenQ put a focus on the unique experience of major sports events and on features to create immersive viewing in the home (and, with that, living room scenarios on dark winter evenings). The result is a projector equipped with a brightness of 3,800 ANSI lumens and with special modes to intensify the viewing and enjoyment of big screen projection in the comfort of one’s own four walls. In addition to a low latency of just 16 ms (1080p@60Hz) and a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), the TH575 DLP® projector brings the extra bonus of an extended warranty period of 4 years for customers who register the product. The new BenQ TH575 projector is available in stores at the reduced promotional price of 639 euros incl. VAT, valid until 31 December 2022.
Immersive sports events and gaming - life-sized
The BenQ TH575 is a perfect fit for a wide range of room sizes thanks to its flexible projection distance and automatic vertical keystone correction which facilitate a really easy set-up. The simplicity of the set-up is further enhanced by the built-in 10 Watt speaker which the TH575 boasts for powerful audio accompaniment. The Rec.709 standard means that colour reproduction is vibrant and realistic. And thanks to the 3,800 ANSI lumens brightness, the new projector delivers excellent, large-format picture performance during the day as well as in the evening or at night in a well-lit living room. The TH575 is capable of projecting diagonal screen sizes of up to 100 inch which makes it an interesting alternative to watching events on a conventional TV. Plus, the comfort of the living room is a more inviting proposition to venturing out into cold and damp winter evenings and heading to a sports bar with friends which can be quite costly.
The TH575’s unique special sports mode makes skin tones appear natural and the green grass of a playing field more realistic and vivid. Further to this, the mode singles out and amplifies the commentator's voice and brings the whole stadium atmosphere including chants and cheering into the home.
The integrated game mode enhances the projected picture by fine-tuning the contrast and colour gradation of the images in dark and shadowy scenes, so that players can unmask their opponents even in dark areas of the picture and detect any hidden secrets. With a response time of 16 ms, the TH575 ensures smooth gameplay, enabling interactions in virtual real time - perfect for fast-paced sports, response-critical shooters and time-sensitive battle arenas.
Long life thanks to DLP technology
Powered by the ultimate in long-lasting Digital Light Processing (DLP®) technology with a filter-free, dust-proof design, zero colour fade, superior heat resistance and the ultimate in DLP chip durability, the TH575 delivers robust image quality with accurate colours and crisp clarity without maintenance or degradation. The TH575 has a lamp life of up to 10 000 hours and by employing the energy efficiency modes Smart Eco® or Lamp Save this can be extended to up to 15 000 hours.
Those who purchase their TH575 during the promotional period and register the unit with BenQ will receive a one-year extended warranty, bringing the total warranty to 4 years. This unique warranty extension ensures that the TH575 projector is future-proof and will be around for a host of upcoming big events and, looking forward, even for major sports events in 4 years!
