Superior IP6X Dust-proof Sealed Engine Design to Prolong Projector Lifespan
Shield your projectors from harmful dusts with BenQ Dust Guard technology.
Resists Dust Buildup
An anti-dust accumulation colour wheel sensor repels debris from blocking the IR signal and causing flickering, abnormal colours, or even shutdown.
Sealed Laser Light Source
The laser light source is fully enclosed and well protected from dust in any environment.
Sealed Engine
Advanced IP6X protection with a sealed engine that eliminates any chance of dust contaminating the projector’s key components.
The LW855UST laser projector can be turned on and off instantly, significantly reducing setup time compared to lamp-based projectors. The LW855UST also features instant response, requiring no waiting to turn on or resume for flexible performance.
With a fully sealed laser light source and an innovative sealed laser engine design, the LW855UST delivers 38,000 hours of maintenance-free operation under Eco mode, eliminating the need for lamp replacements and maintenance costs.
The LW855UST ultra short throw laser projector can be mounted just inches from the wall or directly above the screen, eliminating distracting shadows and glare so students and teachers can freely engage and collaborate at the board.
BenQ PointWrite™ technology works on any flat surface, creating new opportunities for classroom interactivity and enabling more possibilities for modern digital classrooms.
Coupled with PointWrite™ PW30U kit and the PT20 touch module, the LW855UST augments collaboration with styluses or direct touch. In QWrite software Whiteboard Mode, teachers can run different applications or display, view, and annotate across two screens for multiple users at once.
*PointWrite™ PW30U and PT20 are optional accessories sold separately.
BenQ PointWrite™ automatically calibrates and saves its settings the moment it is plugged into a computer’s USB port. Additionally, the LW855UST’s interactive sensor guarantees reliable auto-calibration in any ambient lighting environment.
For hassle-free lessons, teachers and students can bring their own smart devices and computers to stream documents, images, and even full HD videos via LW855UST projectors, facilitating open exchange of ideas and collaborative teamwork.
* Compatible with the LW855UST and LH856UST, the QCast Mirror QP30 dongle is an optional accessory, sold separately.
The LW855UST is widely compatible with leading projector control systems including Crestron, AMX, and PJ Link for network control via LAN, making it simple to integrate into educational network infrastructures. The LW855UST also supports RS-232 for reliable long distance installation of up to 15 meters when there is no LAN port available nearby.
BenQ DMS Local is a device info and management software suit for Windows. The software helps IT departments control multiple displays at a time via LAN.
Administrators can centrally upgrade the firmware on multiple networked BenQ projectors on the same local network via LAN (up to 253 projectors), deploying the latest updates to all devices at once. This new tool can upgrade firmware for TI IC, MCU IC, LAN IC, and Ballast IC, with a friendly user interface.
For efficient professional installation, the LW855UST ultrashort throw projector wall mount features an installation chart and ruler for perfect screen alignment and image positioning in the classroom. To make things even simpler, a three-way adjustment knob is located in the front of the projector for cleanly installed, absolutely square screens.
Lens Shift and 2X Digital Zoom
The LW855UST offers vertical lens shift of 2% to fit perfectly into any room with a dynamic range of projection distances and heights. The 2X digital zoom offers a wide range of throw distances to significantly increase installation flexibility for diverse mounting and placement options.
Digital Shrink & Shift
Shrink and shift projection via the OSD without reinstalling or adjusting the projector physically to get precisely aligned images on the desired frame and space.
2D Keystone & Corner Fit
The LW855UST is equipped with two-dimensional keystone correction. Corner Fit control adjusts each corner respectively for perfectly aligned image geometry.
With industry-leading high contrast, BenQ education projectors utilise advanced DLP-optimised optical lens systems to provide precise readability and crisp resolution for every single subpixel.
